WE’RE HERE FOR YOU

The GVHD Alliance is dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by Graft-versus-host disease (GVHD), a condition that can happen after a bone marrow/stem cell transplant. GVHD occurs when donor cells attack a person’s organs and/or tissues. Learn more here.
We are committed to providing GVHD resources to diverse communities. Are you looking for information about treatment? Feeling frustrated over not being heard? No matter where you are in your journey, we can help.

Weekly monitoring of your GVHD symptoms—and reporting them to your doctor as soon as possible—is important to your care. We can help you learn about GVHD signs and symptoms to look for. The more you know, the better you’ll be able to communicate with your health care team.

The annual meeting of the American Society for Transplantation and Cellular Therapy and the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research will take place in San Antonio, TX but also features virtual programming. Registered attendees will be able to view session recordings after the meeting has concluded. This is largely a professional meeting but the public is welcome to attend as well—doing so will give you the opportunity to hear from leading experts around the world who are working to improve the lives of those living with GVHD.

If you attend in person, you will also have the chance to meet with GVHD Alliance member organizations and changemakers dedicated to our cause. Be sure to stop by the selfie booth to take pictures and share on social media! We will also be announcing the winner of the second annual Lukas D. Wartman GVHD Achievement Award.
